that the creator of this comm, and my co-administrator, skywardprodigal passed away this morning. She loved this blog dearly and was a tremendous presence on this section of the internet. She will be sorely, sorely missed.

My sympathies to you the_future_modernes and to all who mourn more deeply than I. I only knew skywardprodigal from comments and icons and not personally, and yet I am sure that the loss of her voice will have a deep, rippling impact across this corner of the world. May she rest in beauty and peace.

I just learned of this sad event. I met her here on DW via our common concern for and love of Haiti and her people.

The world is a little less. Heaven is a little more.
