Cries of everything from "this is a stupid method for reproduction!" to "this is a stupid method for cleaning the house!" have rung from our metaphorical rafters.

I did that just this afternoon when I was sweeping out our tiny enclosed front porch with a full-length push broom. I kept whacking the windows with the other end of it until I remembered I normally use the dustpan and brush. *headdesk*
